Light or no light

I have nine baby chicks there in there brooder and are in my basement. They are 5 weeks old and have most of there feathers and I was wondering when I can turn off the heat lamp there's no light in the basement but I don't know when they don't new the light any more

i usually turn the light off in the day when mine are that age
