I raised one white rock rooster for meet and when we killed him last night i was a little freaked out at the purple bruising under the wings.... I'm guessing from maybe a fall from between the roosts where his wings both hit the roost poles??

Anyway.... after seeing that I had to check the rest of the flock last night to make sure there was no simlar patterns. i didn't find anything on the other birds....

Is there a paticular diseases that might cause this? Should I be treating the laying flock for something?

I suppose it could have happened during during the flapping at kill time to??

without a photo I would not dare to guess, but if there are no signs of this in the rest of the flock I would guess there is nothing to worry about ...
but yes there are some things that might cause that so keep chicking them and if you do see signs of it again post back here.
if I miss your post then pm me
