Light Sussex pullet? Or cockerel?

I'm also thinking pullet. I guess it could possibly be a very late developing cockerel, but at 15 weeks I'm thinking you're going to get eggs in the next month, not crowing.

Thank you, that's very clear. At what age do the roosters usually start developing those distinctive feathers? Again, just gorgeous!
I am not sure if they show up in the juvenile feathers. For sure they show up in the adult feathers.

Hmm. With her comb already bright red, I think she will be an early layer and should be laying very soon. There is no trace of a rooster on her, though, I have to agree white birds are hard to see the saddles on.
