Good morning everyone,
I am going to put my girls out into their home today with a 60 watt light bulb for heat. They are full feathered except for their heads, which are getting feathers, but not fully feathered out. Their home is an old horse stall out in the barn with the pine bedding that we use for the horses. Will the bulb be enough for them over their swimming pool to keep them warm? I live in Washington and the temps are around 40 -50 at night and around 60 during the day. They will not be going out side to soon because they are small and the stall is big. The girls are 4 weeks old.
Thanks!

Hope that you have a predator safe pen; hardware cloth and solid walls and ceiling, and protection from digging at floor level. A stall modification can be wonderful, but just a stall isn't safe enough. Mary
