Lightless brooder

Need to make brooder with no to minimal light for albino birds.any ideas.thx

Maybe try ceramic reptile heaters? They look like a flat, black bulb, and screw into a reflector like one, but they produce no light, only heat. The ones I've seen are 40 or 100 watts so they do have to be closer to the ground than 250 watt lamp, although maybe you could find a stronger one online.

Look up heat mat. I have one for plants I plan on using. They come in different sizes & you buy a temp control to go with it. I don't think a rock will do because it doesn't heat the air. They would have to sit on top of it to keep warm.

Or a piece of cloth on a coffee warmer plate never tried it but should work
