They do look like old hen eggs.I have a 9+ Buff Orpington that will lay an occasional egg. Her eggs are very thin shelled and rarely make it out of the nest.
I also have a 9+ Booted Bearded Millei Fleur Feather Legged Bantam that laid over a dozen hard shelled small eggs last year.
Both birds were raised together as chicks. Both still seem healthy and happy.
I have several 8+ Reds and Rocks that are still occasionally laying, but I have no idea which ones or how often. I can tell when an older hen lays though. Their eggs are "different".
They do look like old hen eggs.
