lights on the ducks

I was wondering how long the lights have to stay on the baby ducks... I know they're a lot like chickens but grow faster and are different in some aspects. Thanks for the help!
 
I meant the heat lamp... sorry. I thought thats what it was but couldn't remember. Just want to get them the best they can be!! Getting them today!
 
For all brooded birds, watch their behavior. If they crowd under the heat, they're cold. If they crowd far away from the heat, they're hot. If they move all about, they're fine.
At night they'll tend to crowd under the heat even if they don't necessarily need it.
I keep raising the heat each week and watch behavior. I don't even check the temperature. Just a warm spot and lots of cool space.
