When was this implemented? If I click on the like icon, I am getting redirected to another page asking me to confirm that I really am liking something.
Maybe this is good? Maybe I should be more conservative with my likes and use the feature more sparingly :confused:Lol.

I am running Android 13 on budget Amazon tablet. My good PC died recently. Had to get something to get me by until I can afford another quality device.

This happens often to me too, its been a thing for a while now. Internet traffic and BYC traffic can cause a slow down, causing this to happen.
I was thinking it was because I am running a later version of android. thanks for the clarification and swift response.

An older version might definitely do it if its a tad slow or less responsive.

Hmmmmm.. it is moving pretty quick. If I didn't have PFM, that would be a big 10-4 there rubber duck. It actually goes to the confirmation page faster than You can blink.

If you have ad-blockers or other things impacting Javascript loading, that (or as mentioned above, slow internet) can cause that to happen.
Thanks. It just started when I got this budget tablet off Amazon, bought as a better than nothing or should I say a Plan B, after my computer left me and went to computer heaven recently. I went about a week without getting on line and decided to get a spare tire until I save for something a bit better.
I am sure this new device has ad blockers and various other Google aps hogging the processor and ram. My connection speed is cranking high speed fiber these days.
Thanks for taking the time to reply.

I FIGURED IT OUT.
It happens as I accidentally DRAG my thumb while touching the like button. I even experimented after the fact and it did it. I am used to using a non touch screen- lap top or tower computer for surfing byc. I am catching myself dragging the screen ever so slightly but enough to trigger a reaction to the program. When I just peck the like button quickly it is fine. If I slightly press and slip a little, I get redirected.Everytime.
I don't plan on using this touching screen for long. I'm a big screen kinda surfer. Gimme a mouse lol
Thanks again Rob.
