That makes at least two of us. I'm lucky enough to have a wonderful rooster. I have at least one more in my brooder, looks alot like yours but my little Dom is a mix you'd never know it unless I told you though mom is a Dom and her genes just took over.View attachment 1733853

He is to CUTE!!! I had a big blue Chochin that was a big baby ,He would run as fast as He could to Me to get Me to pick Him up I had a Accident and messed up leg I broke back in the 80's and living alone I had to get rid of everything. I think I have around 60 chicks now

Aww, I love it when the big ole tough rooster is a snuggle baby.
The one here and that chick's dad is a big shaggy faverolle and just the nicest guy. Love to hear him talk, he almost sings.
Glad you were able to get back into chickens, they are a real bright spot in the day.

I can totally see that. The biggest feathery one gets Ruffles, Lays makes sense, another named Pringles, etc.

Really when I got My first Chickens ...They were part of My Saving of My Mental state. My Husband of 33 years had passed away .I needed Something to help to deal with all this . So I got Chickens.Chickens and more .at one time I had almost 200 Now I have somewhere around 50-60 , a Hen Turkey and Yorkie and raising a 13 year old grand Daugther.

No better way to soothe the loss of death than with life. Sounds to me like you've got a wonderful "medicine cabinet" of that now.

YES ! The perfect medicine.. Even My Dr. Said that (chickens) is the best Medicine for Stress and Grief. I talked to the Chickens so much that now I can stand in a crowd of People and explain the effects of Black Lung . (My Husband died from it ) .with out Roscoe ,TJ, Cocomo and the Ladies I would have been in the Egg Basket.
