I recently experienced a situation that I'm not sure how pans out. I recently was on a topic where I posted some comments. I got several generous likes from people I appreciate in the community but my disagreement with the OP's opinions I believe caused them to block me (or in any case I can no longer access the topic).

What happens to those likes and posts when someone is blocked by an OP? Are they removed from the OPs topic entirely? Do the likes vanish? Do they continue to accumulate likes from others even if the OP and I can't see them? Can third parties still see and like them?

If the topic was removed entirely, do the likes I received remain or were they purged from the system?

I'm just curious about this. How does that work? I have concerns that if the posts are removed entirely that it would become easy to make a topic thread that shows up on a search engine frighteningly biased.

Yes. Anyone who starts a topic is OP in that topic only. If you started a topic you would also have an OP in the corner of your avatar in threads you start only.
