can any one figure out what breed he is, he is only 1mth old and was given to me yesterday was told he was a she but i know he is a he...lol if that makes since

Black Australorp or Jersey Giant? I hear that the difference can be told from the color of the bottom's of their feet. What color are they?


Also adding, 'Lorps have 5 spikes on their single comb and Giants have 6...so says a book I have right in front of me.

Yep

My guess would be Australorp because they're more common. If his feet are pink/white, it's an aust, if yellow probably a giant.

What color are the bottom of the feet?
It could be a Black Orpington, Black Australorp or Black Giant all look alike at that age...
