limestone?

Hi- I am reading on the boards about Diatomuceaous Earth and wondering if you can also use limestone (since I already have some...)? Will it harm the hens in a deep litter method use (or any other use too I guess)?

you can also use limestone

If you use Lime, make sure it's Calciuim Carbonate and NOT Calcium Hydroxide (Hydrated LIme)

One is caustic and the other is safe​
