Limp Chick - dog attack

To determine whether they are declining, a weight should be recorded and tracked every morning. Food scale works best.

She seems to be turning a corner! She's started to support herself and eat and drink on her own! She's still very wobbly and has one foot curled under when she stands. But I think she might make it!

Save-a chick is electrolytes. Add a teaspoon of sugar. Sugar should be in every chicken first aid kit. It's glucose and can save a chicken's life that is on the brink of death.
About the sugar, to dissolve it, would it be better to use corn syrup or a liquid than the granulated kinds of sugar?

When using the sugar water for an ailing chicken, you always want the water to be body temperature 100F, so sugar dissolves instantly in warm water. Brown sugar is best because it actually has vitamins in it as they are refined out of white sugar. I would stay away from corn syrup.
