My little 2 week old Mini (Salmon Faverolle) is having a tough time. She was on the brink of death when we got her from the hatchery but I hovered over her for days (and nights) making sure she ate and drank. She isn't growing as quick as the other chicks but she is eating and drinking on her own no problem. She doesn't walk much and I have been noticing a bit of a limp, like she doesn't want to put her right foot flat. I think she has been like this since we got her. I didn't want to stress her too much so soon after being shipped so I didn't make her walk much, but lately I have been encouraging her to get up and walk. She also likes to sleep on her side with her legs out. Had me so nervous at first! Any suggestions on why she is limping?
