My girl Nugget started limping 2 days ago, its gotten worse since it started. I thought it was an injury but after separating her she seemed distressed. I put her back in the run and she determinedly limped to the nesting box. Now shes sitting in it sounding like an engine failing to start. Is she egg bound? Her tail was also drooping until she got to the nest box and her feathers seem dull and disheveled. Is she eggbound? What should I do to help her, or figure out whats wrong?

...as Im writing this she just popped out an egg so maybe not eggbound? She's still limping and jist tried to walk up for treats, flapping to try and help her move. She then gave up and laid down. She's laying down a lot and her tail is pointing down again.

She is still eating and drinking water, she laid down by the water and drank quite a bit just now

video of her limping just now:

and yesterday

Have you looked at the bottom of her feet for bumblefoot? That can be painful enough to make them limp. It could also be a sprain, in which case @cavemanrich is on the right track. Does her leg feel hot or swollen compared to the other?

No signs of bumblefoot that I can tell, no cuts/lesions/debris. She has silver legs so its hard for me to tell if theres bruising but there are 2 small dark spots on one leg that could be bruises. They dont feel hot or look but I'll double check when I'm home from work.

She's a big girl so I'm also suspecting a sprain, just happened the same week that one of my 8 week old chicks developed a slight limp so I fell down a rabbit hole of marek's disease panic but the chicks limp is getting better so also likely just 2 unfortunately timed injuries
