I have read all the post and am thinking the worst, but wanted to post a video and get opinions on what is causing this limp.

This is a silkie chick about 8-9 weeks old. We picked up from a backyard breeder, and only have 4 chicks. As of right now, this is the only one that is showing any signs.

I'm not exactly sure if I've done the video right, but I posted to you tube, and I think this is the link.

or when I clicked on that I got this...

Look like splayed leg or maybe mareks... When it was young, was it raised on a slippery floor? In the video it was sliding around.... That looks a lot like splayed leg. I hear you can make leg braces by using a bandaid and wrapping one end around one leg and the other end around the other leg, to keep its legs from sliding around. After a while it should get better with the brace. If you want more information about Splayed Leg syndrome you can search it up on google. Hope this helped!;)

It was raised on a somewhat slippery floor...they were in a wire rabbit cage with the wire covered with newspaper and then several inches of pine shavings. the days would start off with about 2" of pine shavings, but there was always a dance floor cleared by the end of the day that they had a little chicken party in. Every time we cleaned/refilled, they would start kicking it out.

Haha. Chickens are so funny. It's probably Splayed Leg Syndrome. You should search it up on google. You can find out how to make a leg brace on there, and see if any of the symptoms match.
