Limping Chicken

my hen has just recently started limping on her left foot. whenever she is standing up she is balancing on one leg, which must be tiring because she is quite fat, but she keeps on just lying down in weird places which isn't like her. and her foot looks fine, identical to the other. is it serious or should i just leave her?

It looks in the pic like the foot is dirty. if it is, I would wash it well to see what the skin under it looks like. She may have bumblefoot or leg mites. If it is bumblefoot, there are lots of threads on here about it, plus some good info in the sticky on the Emergencies forum.
