Limping duck

I'm thinking so, since I just went to eye level to listen for noises, she puffed up underneath her neck and then did a big puff of air (before it sounded like a gasp for air, now it was deliberate)
Gonna leave her alone for a while.

Thanks so much! But g2g

After Sechs had a prolapse, I brought her to the vet for vent stitches then kept her indoors in the dark for a couple of days. There were eggs in the shelter I did not pick up in the morning, and by afternoon she was sitting on them, having gone broody. Suppose the same has happened with your girl? There are worse things.

By the way, she needed to be confined for more than a couple of days, so the broodiness worked out. She is STILL broody. But I expect her to come out of it the next couple of weeks. Now Fünf seems to be getting broody, two.
