I need ya'lls opinion!
I have a 2wk (I think) old Mallard duckling who was accidently kicked over (I wasn't there) but my little cousin. He said he accidently kinda kicked the duckling or something. But now my duckling is sorta limping. Sometimes it's more obvious than other times that theres something wrong with his little foot. So, IDK if I should take him to the vet already, or wait it out a bit to see if it'll go away. He's eating, drinking, &pooping as usual. He seems happy and everything, it's just that occassionaly he'll limp a little. Have any of ya'll experianced this with your ducklings? Did they stop limping? Did you take them to the vet? Idk what to do ): And it makes me so sad whenever he limps. ): Please helpp!

If the poor little thing isn't limping too bad, I would wait and see. My daughters chicken came home with a limp from being grabbed by the legs and having a mud ball takin off her leg with a hammer. Really. She had a very noticable limp, but we were able to fully rotate the leg gently. It took two weeks to completely go away. Sprains and really deep bruises can take some time. You should watch for swelling, and, if it happened today, I would expect it not to get any worse after tomarrow. Good watching the food intake/output. I would keep checking on that for a little bit just to be sure that nothing else was injured.

Thankk you! He's actually doing much better today
