Hi! I have a hen that started limping out of the blue a few days ago. I've looked at the problem foot many times, but I can't find anything that looks like a bumblefoot scab, nor any weird heat. There is maybe a slight swelling in her toes, but not enough to be very noticeable. I even soaked and washed her feet and looked again, but even with clean feet I can't find any sign of bumblefoot.
Does anyone have advice for what I should do next? Maybe it's bumblefoot without a skin scab, or she sprained it, or something else? What would you do next if it were you? Altogether, she's been limping for three days now, I assumed if it were just an injury it would have gotten better at this point. She seems uncomfortable walking and has been "fussing" a little more than usual.
