Limping hen

We have a year old hen who is limping. She has a bump between her toes that is red and swollen. We have been cleaning and putting antibiotic cream on the last few days. She's eating fine, but walks with a pretty bad limp. Could it be a broken toe, or bumblefoot???? And what to do for it. thanks

This is classic bumblefoot and needs to be fixed with a "surgery" that you can perform. It will take some willingness on your part to cut open your hen's foot, but it must be done or the infection will eventually spread and kill her.
