limping hen

hi- i have a year old red star hen, noticed yesterday she was limping and walking lower to the ground, then today she was fine, a slight limp, but am thinking the LB roo may be straining her leg- any ideas or suggestions on how to treat this? she doesn't appear to be in pain or stressed

If she's making quick recoveries, then let her take care of it. If it would make you feel any better, you could quarantine her for a few days to let her heal better.

I had a hen that was limping something awful. I kept her aside with another gentle hen as company and her limping cleared up in about a week. Perhaps it's the same with your baby...I hope she'll be okay!
