Limping hen

Yesterday I noticed on of my girls was limping. We looked at her leg and foot and didnt notice anything such as swelling or an open scratch or sore. Today she is still limping no better or no worse and still no sign of anything else. She is getting around fine and hanging out with all the rest of the girls, I just hate to thimk she may be in pain. Does anyone have any suggestions. Thanks

HI! Our SLW, Dottie, had a very noticeable limp two weeks ago. She waddles anyway, but we could tell this was more than her normal lumbering. We couldn't find anything wrong either...nothing visible or palpable, but remembered during a very bad storm, she tried to jump onto a perch and "misjudged" it. She began walking like her old self after a couple of days. Guess it was a sprain. Good luck!

check her foot pad she may have bumblefoot.i have been dealing with bumblefoot on one of my hens since last fall.
