My husband thought it would be a good idea to let my dog on the chain while the girls were grazing today. They are about 9 weeks old. I wasn't there to see it happen but my daughter was carrying one of them and it flew from her arms and my dog lunged at her. I don't know if he got her or she just fell hard but she has a bad limp. No bleeding, crazy bones or inflammation that I can see but she hasn't moved much. I'm really worried about her!!! Should I just keep an eye on her?? Help!

I'm sorry to hear about that.

Feel her leg. Is there any bleeding or bruising? Swelling or is it hot to the touch? Does it feel or look broken or like a tendon slipped?
If not, she should get better if she stays calm and doesn't use it or try to jump off high perches for a few days. My rooster had a limp for a while, and he healed right up. I locked him up at night so he wouldn't try to perch up high.

Best of luck!
