Limping pullet, sideways toe?

Correction- on my first post, it said that the roosts in the coop are 4' off the ground. It's the highest roost that is 4', the lowest roost they can jump up to is about 2 ft. I am still going to add a ramp up to them though.

Scarlett has the same issue in both of her middle toes. I also started a thread on her. Never figured it out. She is a bit slower with walking than the others, but she seems fine. I tried to attach a photo , but my documents were taking too long to load, but they were way worse than your pictures. Her toes are almost completely bent to the sides.

No, I don't think so, I really am not sure when I noticed it. I think when I thought she had bumblefoot, which she didn't . It was not since she was a chick. I think it is a deformity.

Yesterday, I ran out of the tape so for 24 hours she didn't have a boot. Her foot looked like it was in the right spot when her boot was off. More tape came and it's back on. :celebrate

Glad she's doing well. The swelling could be a bone callus, they form around breaks, it's the bone forming around and healing the break. Some will slowly go away with time, some will stay always, but it's not a problem.
