Hi everyone! I have a rooster - equally parts Faverolles, Araucana, Opington, Rhode Island Red. He got stuck upside down in a tree over a year ago and he broke his leg. It healed but strangely - he limps. He has been OK - been like a normal chicken, scratching, dust-bathing, etc...but suddenly his limp has got worse all of a sudden. He hasn't been in any firghts recently but he is seperate from the other chickens as I already have a rooster with them. Anybody know how this happened?

Do you have a picture of the foot? Have you looked on the bottom of it for bumble foot?
No bumblefoot, that's for certain. He does have a bit of scaly leg mite but nothing too terrible. I seperated him from the flock because there would be too many roosters if he stayed, and apart from his leg, he's the healthiest he's been for ages. I have a picture of him, this is him in the corner of the pen where they dust bathe but it had rained the night before. This is just the day after his leg went funny
