Lining incubator with tin foil or wax paper

I'm not familiar with the LG and I don't know if yours is forced air or still air. I don't know where you plan to put the foil, sides or bottom. The questions I would have (most have been addressed) are:

1. Will it interfere with air flow? The eggs breathe. They need fresh oxygen to develop.

2. Will it interfere with heat distribution? That could either be from reflected heat or air flow.

3. Will it affect the thermostat readings? If you further insulate the thermostat, your temperatures could be off.

4. Will it affect humidity? Humidity is controlled by surface area of the water. Air flow could also affect humidity.

5. Will they walk on it? It is too slick for them to walk on and could cause leg problems.

6. Will they try to eat it? If it is smoothly applied, probably not, but if it is torn, has ragged edges, or you have scraps in there, maybe.

I personally try to use my incubator as the manufacturer intended, but there may be some tweaks you do to make it perform better.

Good luck!
