I like the idea with the paint for certain; not just to be helpful with those pesky mites and bug critters...but also to brighten the place as well. I'm imagine that can only impact the health and laying of the hens in a more positive manner?

I suppose it might....may affect the keeper more than the birds.
But then, I absolutely hate to paint.

That's what I'm hoping. For a person who likes black 100% of the time...I can appreciate a bright coop interior.

I second your sentiment towards painting. However, some money jumped out of my pocket and some paint followed me out of the store and jumped in my truck! I suppose I will have to deal with it personally...lol.
