Linoleum or pine chips at the bottom of the coop?

I use both also. I turned the linoleum 14" up the walls, then I put the pine shavings 12" deep. There's nothing funnier that go go out to the coop and see a bunch of necks and heads sticking up out of the shavings. I guess that's what you call a literal dust bath.

I use both as well. Lino on the floors of ALL my coops and then pine shavings. We typically clean the coops out completely once every month and replace the pine shavings.
