Hello everyone! I've been reading BYC for some time now. This is the first time i've joined. I have 3 drakes. Started with 5 boys as I wasn't ready for eggs...this was my first duck experience. LOVE my boys....however now I am ready for hens and would have to have a huge amount of females to service that many drakes so I downsized to 3. A very lucky little girl got 2 of them. I am super excited and cannot wait to see you all in the forums!

you do need a lot more girls so the drakes won't overbreed them.

Hi everyone. So, I am having the hardest time. I downsized again to 2 drakes and picked up 3 hens. They drakes are covering them so much I dont know what to do? They haven't laid any eggs yet...and 2 of the hens won't let the boys next to them, they continue to fan them off. Little crazy over here trying to get some harmony back in their life. LOL
