I saw a old photo of my moms the other day of her two chickens and two ducks and she said "that chicken was named bocky since it talked a lot" I thought that was pretty cute!

Fish- EE hen
Goose- Barred Rock hen
Sesame- Buff Orpington Hen
Kettle- NH Red Hen
Fig- Australorp hen

my roo isn't named yet, but I've been saying "noodle roo" when I address him. I wanted to call him charlie (as in sheen since he spends all day chasin the women, but DH vetoed)

We had one pullet that died named Marsala. Now the kids insist that the rooster we got should be named Marsala in memorial. Whatever.

We also have: cockerals - Parmesian, Bulldog, and Dieggo (get it?

) and pullets - red light (named by my 5 year old), Amelia Bedelia, Emilio (was the original Amelia, then we thought was a roo so we changed it, and now I'm refusing to change it back) and the rest are unnamed as I can't tell the 3 buff pullets and 5 of the rocks apart from each other. They need leg bands.
