I noticed a hen was acting oddly in warm weather - sitting hunched up and puffed out. Checked today and noticed solid poop was blocking her vent so removed and noticed her abdomen is squishy. Poop was hardened, sort of yellow and green and smelly. Hen hasn't been laying during winter (normal). Didn't want to eat treats I brought out for other chickens. When I set her on perch, she's listless. When I inspected her, she doesn't protest much.
Is there anything I can quick do or do I let nature take its course? Almost 3 yr old hen.
Other chickens seem fine.

Sounds like organ failure and possible infection with it. Not a good prognosis, sadly. Antibiotics may make her feel better but may not cure her.

Could it be a staph infection? I made the rookie mistake of handling her and carefully dislodged the poop without touching it. Of course realized mistake after and washed with hot water.

What do her fresh poops look like?
hasn't had any. Picture above of poop that was blocking her vent. Feathers around vent are all covered too but vent is clear now.
She's pretty listless and heavy breathing unfortunately so there might not be much chance. Still in coop, other hens appear fine and laying.

Sounds like she's had diarrhea for a while and it has been sticking to and drying on her bottom feathers.

I don't think we can tell what kind of infection it is without testing. I don't see why handling her was a mistake.

I didn't have gloves on the first time I handled her...

I'm sorry. That doesn't sound good. It is tough seeing them in distress like that. Can someone put her out of her misery? I understand if you aren't able to.
