Hi
I'm new to the forum and I'm a first time chicken keeper.
We have two Isa Browns, Hildegard & Rosie, about 30 weeks old. They've both been laying good healthy eggs since about 20 weeks, one each a day until 2 days ago.
We found one healthy egg in the nest box, one on the ground in the run and another at the other end of the run that has a very thin rubbery soft shell and was very pale.
Today, there has been one good egg and nothing from the other.
Hildegard is very listless and doesn't seem to be interested in any kind of food. She's just been standing still under the coop whereas normally she is trotting round the run with Rosie and attacking worms.
There's been a few sloppy poohs but we don't know from which one.
The weather has been warm for the last two days and just mild today. We did find a cat asleep in their coop yesterday which may have given them a fright.
Any suggestions as what the problem may be?
Many thanks
