How many times do I need to shovel out the brooder per week since they poop a lot?

I have 3 chicks, soon to get 5 more.

I would clean daily so you don't have as much work to do. Also helps in keeping fresh supply of food and water

I'm not what you'd call an expert by any means. I just started with 19 chicks in November. they are 15 weeks now. I had mine in the garage in a large box with pine shavings. I added pine shavings as needed, and cleaned it all out once/week. Everything seemed to work ok and the smell didn't get to bad.
