I have problem with one of my "goslings" that seems to be pushed out of the group. He cannot really get to the food and I see the others pecking him. He seems to be losing weight. He is to wild for us to catch him and feed him seperately. I attach a photo from better times when he was still included

The problem is we have tried it, but the others just move to that as well and he stands back again. They are 7 others against him, I do not understand it, is it because he looks completely different from the others?

It might be that. Is he healthy? That’s the only other thing I can think of My rooster started bully my hen when she got sick. is He quite a lot smaller or maybe they are just mean. I’m not sure sorry.

You might have to separate the smaller one with one other for company, the grey one might be smaller from not getting enough food or just from genetics, the others might be bulking more because it’s breeding season if you’re in the northern hemopisphere, or just because the grey one is so much smaller.

The only thing I can’t honk of is to put out large amounts of food in multiple areas so that the others won’t care, which can be wasteful, or to separate them into smaller groups, as I said separate the grey goose with the tamest white goose.

We are in Sout Africa so it is not breeding season . Seperating him is unfortunatey not an optio we do not have the space, through no fault of ours their space got a lot smaller because of the neighbours hitting the gander. We are on a plot with three houses and until this happened there was a lot more space

Does that mean you are just going to watch him starve? fencing can be put up so you can put him and another for company together and if that doesn't work find him a new home but please don't just watch the poor gosling starve and be bullied. And to catch him you walk him into a coop or corner and pick him up. He won't like it but he can't keep going like he is either.
