Meet Elsie. Name derived from LC. Short for Little Chicken. We got her 8 weeks ago. She was fully feathered when we got her but still making peeping chick noises not Hen noises. So I estimated her to be 8-10 weeks when we got her. So she has to be 16 weeks if not older. She is a whopping 2 pounds.

First picture (her looking left) is when we got her. Second picture(her face if right) is her now. She looks the same. Maybe slightly more color in her face.

Sooo, I thought a cream legbar or welsummer cross but her size says something else. Do I have a bantam? What says you?

I don't think she's a bantam, just....little. As long as she's otherwise healthy, she's just developing her own way and eggs might take a bit longer than usual. It's also possible she was starved or very sick as a chick and got stunted.
