Little Coop in the Big Woods...

WOW... I covet your chicken mansion

Ventilation, Ventilation, Ventilation. Your RIR's will love you for more ventilation and will adorn you with plenty of eggs.

Are the water and feed cans on a pulley system that will allow you to adjust the heights as the chicks grow?

They're not on a pulley system, but a good square knot that is easy to adjust attached to a snap clip and eye bolt. When I put in the pop door, that will be on a pulley system that I can open and close the weighted door without going into the run. I'm also planning to add more ventilation next week end, too

I've seen photos of your coop as well, BankerJohn...I too, think that is well thought of design. I might have to "borrow" some of your ideas when I start raising theses Buckeyes for the "teen" chick's run

I bet you'll like being able to store your feed and supplies in the same building ...and knowing that your peeps can't get to it. this coop is 8x12...that's all I could get to fit down my lane with the trees. I've already plotted out my next location though and hope that I can put a 10x15 or 10x20 in that space. Good luck with your project...and post pics. I don't know about other folks, but I like to see the different coops for ideas and improvements to my operation.
