So now i think she had a blood blister on the top of her beak. She’s still eating or drinkingSo now it looks like she has a blood blister or something on a separate part of her beak, this is the best picture i could get View attachment 2892506
Seems to be worsening. Try separating her for a few days, or make their space bigger. So now i think she had a blood blister on the top of her beak. She’s still eating or drinking
I’m not sure if it’s from the hens or her running around and bumping into things. The hens seem to only be pecking at her backSeems to be worsening. Try separating her for a few days, or make their space bigger.
That’s interesting... She has a new spot now. I’m not sure. I tagged the experts^So now i think she had a blood blister on the top of her beak. She’s still eating or drinking
I posted a photo 2 days ago in this thread trying to show it, it wasn’t as worse as it is nowThat’s interesting... She has a new spot now. I’m not sure. I tagged the experts^
She is in the coop and run with the older hens. She’s been using this type of feeder for the last two weeks. And the waterer is a pvc pipe with water nipples.Photos of where she is being kept? Whole housing/brooder, feed/water stations and other chicks.
The injuries seem to be consistent of a bird sticking their beak through wire trying to reach something or getting hung in something. Are you feeding through wire?
