I dug out one of my coops and got a lovely combination of half rotted shavings, chicken droppings, and soil. It looked so rich I decided to fill in a low spot in front of my house and plant grass seed. I spinkled seed here and there around several bare spots. Little did I know grass seed is chicken candy! The demons ate up my $24 seed. Now I have lovely chicken poopy dirt with no grass seed.
