We were scouting for some more eggs(from my grandfather we already have two)that his ONLY hen layed. She will NOT sit on her eggs so we take them and put them in our incubator. We found the nest and there, sitting with the other regular size cornish eggs,an egg the size of a dime! Will it hatch? Will it just sit there dead? Please tell me what to do.

eggs can sometimes be to small or large for the particular chicken a big one is most likely double yolked and a small one probably has no yolk. I would throw it out.

I agree, an egg that small is not viable. And likely no yolk for any development to happen.

Even if it did develop, a chick could not survive until hatch day in such a small egg. But I doubt it even has a yolk.
