little giant 9300 with installed fan input

I purchased the little giant 9300 incubator with a fan installed. Also, I am using the 6300 egg turner. I am giving hatching a try. I have set my eggs (41 total) and added water to the reservoirs. My temp I set at 100 degrees just because the instructions said 99.5 but after reading several threads on here the average seems to be 100. I am using a mix of shipped eggs and eggs from my parents flock. Right now my humidity is reading 58-59 %. I have placed my incubator in a stable temp room that runs around 68 degrees pretty constant. Am I doing things properly? I have a six year old that wanted to do this and I don't want to disappoint him by doing something wrong. He well be happy even if only 1 hatches . Any input would be greatly appreciated!
