I wonder if there is such a thing as a place to buy the starfoam lid to the Little Giant 9200 incubator? I know you can buy the starfoam bottoms, there is nothing to them but the starfoam, but the lid has all the heating element, thermostat, etc, mounted in it with screws. Everything works great on my incubator, but unfortunately, my very hard-headed and determined kitty lays on top of it when it is in use (nice and warm place to lay) and has shown her pleasure and enjoyment by making all kinds of claw holes in the lid, from flexing her claws into the lid. It all still works, but I would like to replace the lid with a new one. Just the starfoam--I can put my current working heating unit, etc, into the new one.
Does anyone have any idea if this can be done? I know the whole incubator is only $45 or $50, but being on a limited income, I hate to spend that, and as I said, the bator still works fine, just would look better with a new lid, especially since I hatch in the living room, to DH's dismay.

It may not be pretty but duct tape can fix anything.

Even if the cover was available by the time you paid for the part
and shippng you can buy a new one. Keep your eyes open for used
one.
