I should have understood that by the context of your question.

The LG motor does put off a lot of heat and is close to the eggs.
It could definately have been part of the problem.

Mine are all too hot to touch.

Your eggs may take a little more time to hatch if they were
a little cold. You'll find many stories on this site about 24 day eggs.

Those little motors do give off a lot of heat and will throw the temps off in an incubator if your thermostat isn't sensitive or the heating element isn't big enough to react quickly.
