I searched and see some old threads but none are my exact problem

I have the red plastic auto waterer
http://www.cutlersupply.com/cart/images/2550.jpg

Started leaking/overflowing a while back. Adjustments didnt work. I manually turn on to fill and turn off. PITB!

Now it seems the sensor is broken, water flows and doesnt turn off at all, huge flow/flooding.

I will post pix, too many words...

thanks

I have 2 of those too. I replaced the the pin part with new one. Go the bike repair section of store and get replacement tire valves. It fixed my leaky one...now have another that I can't get adjusted to flow at all.

I have two of the Little Giant Auto Founts as well, have had them for several years. Most all the online stores sell repair parts for the founts, here is just one example, Cutler Supply Little Giant Fountains and Parts. I see that you already know about Cutler Supply. It would be much easier to walk you through fixing it if you could call the parts by their proper name. There is no sensor listed in the parts. I do believe that your valve has probably gone bad, part #2506 and it is only $1.15. This screws in the bottom of the Stem assembly and is what shuts the water off when the bowl fills. If you decide that the valve is the problem go ahead and order a couple and order the 4 in 1 tool #2518 as you will need it to change the valve.

If this doesn't fix your problem you might want to go ahead and order the Complete Stem Assembly #2509 for $14.65. This can be used with any fountain post you have, the post is what screws into the bowl and with a new stem assembly in it then its like having a complete new setup except your bowls might look real weathered like mine.

I have the same problem with my waterer (the same Little Giant device). Did you ever get a response or figure out how to fix it?
