I've had both an LG and Hovabator. With four children here and the deal I'd found for a picture window Hovabator there was little thought needed to buy. As for function, the LG work just fine. Where folks have the most problem is they can't keep their hand off the thermostat. Anxious and thinking we can make things "better" result in massive temperature swings due to the ultra sensitive dial on the LG. People makeup for this by attaching a dimmer switch dial (large circumference) so adjustments are more suttle. In this regard the Hovabator's thermostat is tamper proof. You can turn it 360 degrees for only a 4 degree change.
Auto egg turner? Nah. Some people want to turn up to 5 times a day. I turn eggs twice a day. A chicken turns their eggs once a day and seem to do just fine with that.
