So I have processed eight birds so far and it went pretty well. The tutorials posted here were very helpful. My only question is about the hair-like things that are left after plucking. Some of my birds, I didn't notice any at all, but one had a fair amount. Is there anything I should do to get rid of them prior to cooking?

If you have a gas range, you can pass the chicken over the flame and singe them off. Or, you can use a gas torch and cinge them off with the flame.

Ditto- it's normal. With the Cornish X's, you won't seem many of those, but you can just burn them off. If you're concerned, you may want to use a torch, as the grill doesn't always do a complete job.
