Silly birds!

Love the camera when young

And still like them as teens... well, guess just overgrown poults at this moment! 6.5 weeks old

Either that or it is planning on eating me....

LOL, total hen face. The babies are so cute, I have a bzillion 5 week old poults right now and they're so funny. I have bourbon reds that stuff their faces in the cam whenever Im trying to take pics of the males displaying, they're such camera hogs

These are my first turkeys. I had three, but the one I thought was a girl died all the sudden for no apparent reason.

I thought these two were toms since they like to strut around each other. They are bb bronze and looking tastier by the day! But then again, I heard hens can strut too.

I'm sorry you lost one, are you enjoying them?

Our first turkey, in the 70's, was whitish, and speckled all over, nothing like any turkey I've seen since. Have you ever seen, or heard, of a turkey breed like that?

Thanks for the sharing those, Silkiechicken!

LOL. I looked up squidward and they do have a scary similarity! LOL

When I see that snood... I can't help but laugh.

I should have gotten turkeys a long time ago!!! They are soo funny!

I hatched out some blue slate's and my daughter wanted to keep one. So I had went a few weeks ago and bought some serama chicks and the one was so small I put it in with the poults. A friend came the other day and bought all of them so the little serama went outside with the other chicks it's age. A friend said I think that little serama is sick. I said no it's been running around fine with the turkey's. Well all day it was huddle and sad looking. Then it dawned on me it must miss the turkeys so I stuck my daughters outside with it and it follows the turkey around it's so funny. I can't wait till the turkey is full size and the serama is still tiny. But the turkeys are so sweet and so calm they don't care if you reach in a pick them up or anything.
