Think she is going to bring one young frillback (not sure of the sex). Not sure about others yet going to look at them in the morning. I'm at work right now

So, I just got back from this event. I took my 3 year old daughter with me. Let me just say...I hate other people's kids.

There were these 3 kids, 2 boys about 7 and 8 and a girl about 5 or 6. To be nice, I will say there were inconsiderate. The little girl tried to kick my daughter as she approached her on the top seat of the bleachers. The girl was sitting at the top swinging her feet, giving my daughter nasty looks. My daughter said "Hi" and as she got closer, the girl was swinging harder. Nice! The oldest one actually kicked my 3 year old in the chest! He was on some bleachers that had a support wire running thru it and the kids were holding on to this and going around it to go up and down the bleachers. The boy had his hands on the wire, saw my daughter start to go up the first seat and gave her such a dirty look, then swung to the other side, kicking her in the chest. My 3 year old said "Hey, that's not nice". He gave her another look and continued up. I took my daughter by the hand and left...ticked!
Seriously, how do you have THREE children (they looked to be from the same family) that are this rude and non-compassionate to a toddler? Really? How? Its not a phase here. Its nasty, ride, Ill-bred children that are the reason our society is so crappy!

Oh, and I helped rescue some unattended White Cochins that were attacked by a joggers Chesapeake Bay Retriever-who was off leash!

They were in small dog crates on the ground. Poor girls! I hope they're ok. I did see some nice birds and I really liked those geese with the cool feathers, very pretty.

And I know I may sound mean, but I saw this orange crate thing about 3ft by 3 ft and it was barely a foot high. Looked like something you'd put lobsters in, not chickens. Well, it looked inhumane.

The sun was pretty warm today and these poor birds, about 12 or so, were in the full sun, no water, no cover. It looked like something from a Chinese market. Every part of me wanted to release the poor hens. They did NOT look happy! They couldn't stand up, walk or spread their wings. Horrible!

OK, done with my rant.

That's too bad you had a bad experience. I was neurotically checking the judges every 10 seconds watching to see where they were judging. I thought it was very well organized and everyone was really nice!

Yes, it was very nice and I thought the lay out was very organized. I was really hoping to make some contacts and perhaps get a polish chick at some point...oh well. But it was a nice day and a nice show!
