Hi again,

Just realized I should probably admit that I'm not 100% sure this Little Big Man isn't really a Madonna.
The Feed Store sales rep was 100% SURE it was a HEN.

SOLD!
Mainly because when we picked it out it nestled into our hands so easily and was content to sit still in our palms.
That was supposed to be a sign of Hendom.
Then, as I mentioned, we heard him crowing a weird high-pitched juvenile, voice-cracking crow type sound -about 3 days later!

Now, I don't know WHAT we've got here! Bantam something or other simply because he's so tiny

He may be a type of Crele old English game bantam.

Thank you for that tip! I Googled pics and he does like a crele bantam hen, but I think at least He thinks he's a Roo.

Any guess as to how old he is?
One of his comb-tines seems to be missing - probably pecked off by a much larger Hen.
