Little Tykes playhouse converted to chicken tractor

My neighbors moved and left this playhouse right when my mother decided she wanted chickens too. I built a base about 2 ft high with 2 doors for easy access.

This is awesome! Nice job. I'm continually scoping out playhouses as chicken coops to get ideas for my eventual one. Right now it's in use by the children, but I figure they'll be over it in a few years and then I get to build my Coop Cottage. Do you have hardware cloth over the windows or anything? Any plans for winterizing or do you live in a pretty mild area?

We live in SE louisiana so it is hot/mild all year. If it gets below freezing I will put a heavy duty plastic up over the windows. It's all covered on hardware cloth. It's strong but it cut my hands up like I was playing in razor wire
